Our Reference in Wunstorf: 8.73 kWp for a Smaller Household<\/h2>\n

On a house in Wunstorf we installed 18 full-black modules with a total of 8.73 kWp. With our cautious planning value of 893 kWh per kWp, that comes to about 7,800 kWh a year, enough for a household with average consumption. Within Wunstorf the differences are about 2%, less than a tree in front of the roof makes. In June the system in the town centre delivers about 1,310 kWh, in December only about 280 kWh. Just over 70% of the annual yield comes between April and September. For quotes we still use 893 kWh per kWp, because hardly any roof faces perfectly south.<\/p>\n

In the town centre and districts such as Luthe, Kolenfeld or Bokeloh, we register the system with Avacon Netz. For systems up to 30 kW on a property with an existing connection, \u00a7 8 (5) EEG applies: if the grid operator does not send a schedule within one month of the complete grid connection request, the system may be connected in line with the technical rules.<\/p>\n

Solar panels in Steinhude and Gro\u00dfenheidorn: Westfalen Weser Netz<\/h3>\n

Westfalen Weser Netz requires every system above 800 watts to be registered before commissioning. Below 15 kW with an existing grid connection, no preliminary enquiry is needed. Registration is started by a registered electrical installer with the meter application, from which the system notification is generated. We handle these steps. Worked example for the Wunstorf reference size<\/h3>\n

Funding for Solar Panels in Wunstorf<\/h2>\n

Why proKlima does not pay in Wunstorf<\/h3>\n

The proKlima fund only supports projects in Hannover, Hemmingen, Laatzen, Langenhagen, Ronnenberg and Seelze, i.e. where the municipalities pay into the fund. Wunstorf is not one of them. In addition, proKlima’s 2026 funding year has already ended.<\/p>\n

Dach-Solar for solar panels in Wunstorf: only with roof insulation<\/h3>\n

Under its Dach-Solar guideline, the Region Hannover funds photovoltaics on existing buildings throughout the region, including Wunstorf. The condition: the roof is insulated at the same time so that, for residential buildings, it reaches a U-value of no more than 0.14 W\/m\u00b2K. The grant is \u20ac150 per m\u00b2 of module area, but only for the area beyond the legal minimum under \u00a7 32a NBauO. Insulation receives \u20ac50 per m\u00b2, at most 80% of the PV grant. If the calculated total is below \u20ac4,000, nothing is paid. Batteries and DIY work are excluded. You apply before signing the insulation contract; this is possible until 30 September 2030, as long as the budget lasts. No grant from the town of Wunstorf<\/h3>\n

The town of Wunstorf has no funding programme of its own for solar systems. Since March 2026 it has offered energy advice together with the Verbraucherzentrale Niedersachsen and refers to the funding compass of the Klimaschutzagentur Region Hannover.<\/p>\n
